Through this blog, we will touch on the new Rhino-Rack® Pioneer 6 roof rack and the compatibility/mounting of auxiliary LED lighting within our range.
RHINO-RACK PIONEER 6 | LED LIGHT BARS
Whether transferring your STEDI™ light bar from the older style Rhino-Rack® Pioneer platform to the Pioneer 6 or planning to purchase your new Pioneer 6 and planning your lighting setup, some considerations need to be made to ensure a smooth and easy install with the right brackets.
Please take note that the current STEDI™ LED Light bar bracket to suit Rhino-Rack Platform V2.0 is compatible with the Pioneer 6 with slight differences in the installation process to the older platform.

Micro V2 Flood light: Both the micro side brackets that come in the box and the Roof rack light bracket (pair) suited to the size of your selected Micro V2 Flood light will suit the new Rhino-Rack Pioneer 6 platform.
If you have a Backbone system with your platform you may be required to remove your Platform from the Backbone to fit the Roof Light Bracket in the correct space along the channel you wish to use, this is not a necessary consideration if your Platform is mounted to your vehicle via the foot mounts to the gutter or roof. The side brackets that come in the Micro V2 box will fit directly to the underside channel on your Platform.
Please ensure that you have the ZWIFLOC channel nuts to screw your choice of bracket into.
C-4 Black Edition Light Cube: The C-4 comes with its own bracket in the box which you can mount to the underside channel of your Platform.
Surface LED Rock Light: There are two options for mounting these to your Pioneer Platform depending on the system you have. For those with the Backbone, you can use the circular holes running along the length of the Backbone using the Rock Light Easy Fit to suit the Rhino-Rack®. Alternatively, you can use the Surface Rock Light Roof Rack Bracket, choosing the underside channel and spacing applicable to your needs and securing the bracket into the channel using the ZWIFLOC channel nuts.
ST3301 PRO work light: The ST3301 PRO comes with its own bracket in the box which can be mounted to the upper or underside of your platform, securing it to the channel before mounting your light into the bracket.
