Although many of our audience will have stumbled across this specific 200 before, we managed to pry it off the previous owners and breathe new life into it by adding the STEDI touch.

We'll start by addressing the elephant in the room, utilizing a combination of 4 Type X™ Pros providing more than adequate light to overpower the Sun. We have paired these to our ST3303 Pro in 39-inch ST3303 Pro, because if anything is worth doing then it's worth overdoing... The combination of these lights provides a more than ideal output for any situation this car is destined to encounter.
AMBER FILTER COVERS
With our recent release of amber filter covers for a large span of our family of LED spotlights and light bar offerings, we decided this was an excellent excuse to go out and perform "R&D" through some of Victoria’s various mud offerings. These covers bring the tone of our pure white 5700 Kelvin driving lights down to a smooth 2500 Kelvin, similar to that of halogen driving lights without any negligible loss of light.

Frontal protection is a no-brainer but as the accessories pile on we needed to keep in mind on the accumulated weight. Not only does a front bar allow for substantial protection that the factory bumper is not able to provide. But also house our winch for when the pilot runs out of talent and for the places this rig expects to visit it’s bound to happen on some occasions. In addition, it allows for our most important factor. More lighting options!! For the 200 we have gone with a Rival alloy front bar by Drivetech4x4. We also got rid of the factory cube lights in the wings and added our flush mounted C4 Flood Black Editions. For driving light configurations, the additional real estate allows us to chop & change with multiple options. To celebrate our latest release of the Type X EVOs™ swapping out the original Pros was inevitable. With 4 of lights representing the next generation of lighting power spanning across the front grille.

Being more than familiar with this system, we opted for the tried & trusted Rhino-Rack platform coupled with our Rhino-Rack light bar bracket kit to support the immense ST3303 PRO upfront and our Universal Micro V2 Roof Rack Brackets fitting our Micro V2s in the 2500K Variant along the edges. Now you probably thought that’s enough surrounding light. Well, to ensure no campsite is left in the dark. We also have a pair of Rock lights on each side also in 2500K fitted to the backbone with our Easy Fit rock light mounts. Also fitted up is a genuine Rhino-Rack mount for our shovel that we estimate to be from the mid-1600s paying tribute to the history of the car. Not forgotten is the Rhino-Rack 270° awning that provides us with shade for day trips and longer expeditions.

To support the modifications of the 200 and transform it to an ultra-capable beast. We opted for suspension by Superior Engineering featuring their full Heavy Duty 2.5 Remote Reservoir Kit. Containing adjustable remote reservoir shocks & struts front and rear mated to heavy duty coils. Upfront partnered up with Billet UCAs and Diff drop kit keeping our alignments in check. At the rear to handle the extra weight we also have a Polyair airbag kit with wireless compressor to adjust to the fluctuations of its duties.

As many would say, wheels make or break a car. For this reason, we decided that chrome is back in fashion and have ROH Assaults finished with their most delectable full-machined finish. Measuring in a 17x9 setup, partnered up with what you could say is the most popular mud tyre on the road currently the ever-potent MAXXIS MT772 RAZR MT keeping us the right way up.

Being one of the most iconic names in the Toyota lineup. There is no shortage of aftermarket support, ranging from your local fabricator to the bigger names in the 4WD industry. We couldn’t go past one of the household names in the business of Safari Snorkels. Utilizing the ARMAX range to ensure our 200 is able to breathe and not ingest any water during its frequent outings. Connected via a Moonlight Fabrications airbox we can be sure the V8 will be making sweet music for every campsite.

We needed a solution that would protect the rear of the big girl and cater well to the various locations the 200 decides to call home on its adventures. The need for extra gear to be carried along to ensure it can sustain itself and its occupants in some of Australia’s iconic locations. For this, we have gone to Raslarr with its outstanding rear bar setup. The provisions for the twin swing away mounts allow us to mount either 2 x Spare wheel carriers or opt to drop one for a twin jerry can mount that allows us to carry extra fuel or water with the added bonus of a chainsaw holder for those Vic High Country escapes. In conjunction keen observers will also note that our flush-mounted C4s have also made their way into the recesses of the Raslarr bar, ensuring low light reverse duties are taken care of. Now if it wasn’t enough (is it ever?) We also have prepared our 8” Hyper flood light on a mount behind-the-wheel carrier.

We all know how dangerous it can be in recovery scenarios. From winching and Snatch duties having a solid point for anchoring shackles. Such tasks are light work for the Snatch recovery hitch.

When it came to designing a livery on the exterior, we took inspiration from the representation of our light designs. It's sedate but 'packs a punch' and wears the STEDI branding like it's a product from our range. Frankly, we reckon this suits us to a tee but we'll let you be the judge of that. To bring out this concept WrapMyRide did a perfect translation from screen to realism bringing the ideas in our heads to fruition.
