Farming Vehicles - Utility Lighting

Farming Vehicles - Utility Lighting Polaris Ranger

For the most part, there is a heavy misconception that kitting up your equipment with LED lighting is cheaper when supplied by the dealer and this couldn't be further from the truth. From our experience, the supplied lighting is generally a low-quality off-the-shelf product slapped with a convenience tax. Through this blog, we will explain the benefits of our product not only in performance and build quality but in your pocket as well.

For equipment such as tractors or buggies, a good starting point is upgrading the headlight globe from halogen to LED. This will offer more performance for visibility whether it be an early start or late finish. Unfortunately, our list of knowledge as to which globe will suit you in this area is quite limited but not a hard process to find what is required.

Generally looking through the owner's manual may provide you with the required globes otherwise simply get the globe out and look for markings that state the globe type. Alternatively, by getting in touch with our customer service team and supplying an image, we will always be able to point you in the right direction.

FARMING VEHICLES | AUXILIARY DRIVING LIGHTS

For forward-facing lights, a common option is pairing up 4 of our C4 Cube LED Work Lights in a mix of 2 x spot + 2 x flood beams. They are a small form factor light with high performance making them the perfect addition to any bull bar or platform around your equipment.

Alternatively, any of our LED Light bars will also solve any of your lighting solutions with a broad selection of styles and sizes.

This area of lighting is a bit more open to interpretation. There are many factors including limitations with mounting positions and other elements such as the preference for beam pattern or colour temperature of the light. Offerings like the Micro V2 lights will offer a much wider beam pattern than others in our range but will be more restricted in terms of distance. For this, it is best to have a small browse through our range comparing beam patterns whilst keeping in mind where you be fitting the light and any restrictions you may have in relation to mounting.
