DESIGN.
Drawing inspiration from the latest LED driving lights from STEDI™, the Type-X™ EVO; the EVO Light Bar was designed to align with modern automotive aesthetics. Over the last few years, we have noticed a distinct lack of auxiliary light bars that blend seamlessly with the design principles of contemporary vehicle manufacturers. Our mission was clear: create a light bar that not only performs exceptionally but also looks like it belongs on any modern vehicle.
SHAPING THE FUTURE.
Our design team spent countless hours refining and perfecting this light bar to integrate with primary design feature of next-gen vehicles, the hexagonal shaped front end. This key element is no longer limited to the mere shape and contour of the vehicle, but has been expanded in unmistakably STEDI™ fashion.
A new addition to the EVO range, is the EVO Light Bar's integrated side DRLs that seamlessly accentuate the organic silhouette and still be seen whilst fit with blackout covers or coloured translucent lenses.
Complementing the hexagonal silhouette are two significant points of interest on the Evo light bar: a metalized coloured fascia and blackout lens covers. The fascia, an evolution of our popular Type-X™ Pro Ring, adds a refined touch that can be customised to match the modern vehicle colour palette.
The EVO Light bar utilizes a Lexan polycarbonate lens, a material that is used in riot shields, making it highly resistant to shattering and chipping. Additionally, our fascia and covers are designed for simple installation, featuring an EVO Key included with every light bar to assist in hassle-free customisation.
PERFORMANCE.
Fans of our Type-X™ EVO driving lights will be familiar with the superior performance we strive for. With the new EVO Light Bar, we aimed to exceed expectations by utilizing advanced reflectors and the latest LED technology to deliver unparalleled Lux output. The EVO Light Bar represents a whole new level of explosive performance, defined by minimalistic design, technological innovations, and a blatant refusal to compromise.
Whether you're driving on open highways or off-road trails, our light bar ensures maximum visibility despite its compact size of 22 Inch. The EVO Light Bar offers a formidable combination of spread and spot beam with incredible reach, illuminating the road ahead whilst providing sufficient lighting to the shoulders of the road.
Requiring a unique harness (included with every light bar), the EVO Light Bar houses 36 CREE XPL2 LEDs that throw light in a way we’ve never seen before, due to updated reflector technology. With an impressive 960m of light being thrown down the road from a 22 Inch light bar, this even surprised us a little. The light bar offers close to the same performance as our larger models but in a more compact form.
Aligning with its siblings in the EVO series, the EVO Light Bar features a 5000 Kelvin temperature beam, reducing eye strain whilst providing a soft, consistent light output.
THE NITTY-GRITTY.
LUX CHART
Understanding the importance of Lux in driving lights is crucial. A unit of 1 Lux is the minimum amount of light required to comfortably read a newspaper. When using the new EVO light bar, 1 Lux is achieved at a distance of up to 960 meters.
The critical zone is the optimal distance required to safely stop from 100 km/h. For safety within this zone, a vehicle requires 200-300 meters of perfectly placed light. Our new EVO Light Bar ensures enhanced visibility, illuminating the road ahead to help you spot potential hazards such as wildlife from a safe distance. This impressive output translates to better reaction times and safer navigation through challenging driving conditions. The EVO Light Bar provides over 62 meters of elongated horizontal light, with 1 Lux achieved up to 960 meters away. This significantly improves safety while driving, giving you confidence in your journey.
FITMENT
Over the years, we've learned that bigger lights aren't always better. The new light bar's compact design offers a significant advantage in terms of compatibility and fitment. It's perfect for modern bull bars with height restrictions or even limitations to mounting positions on your 4x4 vehicle.
The EVO Light Bar is plug-and-play with a Deutsch 4-Pin Connector, allowing for easy integration of the inbuilt DRL/Parking light.
DURABILITY
One of the prominent features of the EVO Light Bar is the innovative mounting bracket system, which provides a variety of mounting solutions. Our team of engineers and designers re-imagined traditional mounting configurations for medium-sized light bars, resulting in a revamped heat sink design. This adaptation now allows for tube-style mounting positions, ensuring, a steadfast and dependable installation.
Rigorous testing was conducted to guarantee that this new engineering approach could withstand harsh climates and any potential impacts on the overall performance. Upon un-boxing, EVO Light Bar is packaged with stainless steel side mounting brackets for traditional mounting, and all the adequate hardware and wiring that is needed for initial installation. Additional wiring and switching may be required, dependant on your vehicle configuration.
The stainless-steel mounting brackets & polycarbonate lens material ensures maximum durability and longevity, even in the harshest of outback conditions. The ease of installation of the EVO Light Bar makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of vehicles, from trucks to off-road rigs.

COLOUR FASCIA
We've taken customization to the next level with the new EVO LED light bar. Gone are the days of solid, single-tone coloured accents; we've opted for more refined metalised finished, Fascia. These rings come in various colours, including grey, red, green, pink, orange, and blue, with more options on the horizon. This allows you to personalize your light bar to match your vehicle's aesthetic seamlessly.
BLACKOUT/FILTER COVERS
The EVO Light Bars design also brings a new generation of blackout and filter covers. Our latest blackout covers feature iconic designs like the STEDI™ logo and a Carbon Fibre finish as well as new colored filter lenses. These filters are driving condition-specific, converting the crisp 5000k warm white beam to amber for foggy conditions reducing glare and haze. These covers not only serve aesthetic and functional purposes but also help with road compliance in regions with strict lighting regulations.
CLAM BRACKETS
Don’t want to deal with generic tube clamp brackets while fitting the EVO Light Bar? We’ve been hard at work developing a new Clam Bracket exclusive to the Evo light bar. The Clam Brackets include two main components that merge with the light bar itself to encompass a bull bar tube's circumference with rubber inserts to decrease vibration whilst driving; the resulting fitment creates an incredibly clean OEM finish. There are 3 different Clam Bracket sizes, that are all designed to cater to traditional bull bar tube sizes.
